Antler Hill® Carneros Pinot Noir 2020

The Los Carneros region of California spans both Napa and Sonoma County and boasts a hot thermal belt that allows our vineyard partners to cultivate premium grapes that ripen earlier than fruit in cooler areas. This garnet-colored wine, aged 14-16 months in oak, features a rich nose of black raspberry, strawberry, and baking spices. With a lingering tannin structure and flavors of black currant and vanilla, this Pinot Noir may surprise you with a more medium to full body than is normally characteristic of the varietal. Savor its complexities with beef bourguignon, smoked salmon, Black Forest ham, mushroom risotto, and aged cheddar. As delightful as it is now with a charcuterie tray for parties and holidays, it’s worth adding an extra bottle or two to your collection and allowing it to reach its excellent aging potential.
